This interactive session will present advocacy and intervention strategies and tips for parents and guardians. The presenters have a combined total of 50 years’ experience working with families and educators using these strategies. Additionally, both presenters are professionals who have specialized in working with individuals and families impacted by Tourette Syndrome (TS) and both are parents of adult children with TS. This session aims to provide parents and guardians with effective approaches for managing social, sensory, academic and behavioral challenges. Participants will break into small groups and will be given a case study to discuss and apply what they have learned.
